TOEIC Bridge Sample Questions

The TOEIC Bridge test is administered at high schools, colleges, universities, immigrant agencies and corporations. These organizations test their own students, clients and employees. Staff members at organizations are trained and certified to administer the test.

General Directions

The following general directions are taken directly from the test book. Following the general directions there are specific directions for each part of the test, along with sample questions for each of the parts. To check your answers with the sample questions, see the answer key below.
This is a test of your abilty to use the English language. The total time for the test is about one hour. The test is divided into five parts. Each part of the test begins with specific directions. Be sure you understand what you must do before you begin work on each part.
You will find that some of the questions are harder than others, but you should answer each question. Your score will be based on the number of questions you answer correctly.

Do not mark your answers in this test book. You must put all of your answers on the separate answer sheet that you have been given. When you answer a question, be sure to fill in the answer space corresponding to the letter of your choice. Fill in the space so that the letter inside the oval cannot be seen, as shown in the example below.

Mr. Jones _________ to his accountant yesterday.

(A) talk
(B) talking
(C) talked
(D) to talk

Sample

The sentence should read, "Mr. Jones talked to his accountant yesterday."

Therefore, you should choose answer (C) Notice how this has been done in the example given.
Mark only one answer for each question. If you change your mind about an answer after you have marked it on your answer sheet, completely erase your old answer and then mark your new answer. You must mark the answer sheet carefully so that the test-scoring machine can accurately record your test score.
