What information does ETS Canada collect?
When you take a test, you may be asked for personal information such as mailing address, native language, native country and date of birth. Aggregate information about test-takers may be used for research purposes, but will not include personal identification information. ETS Canada does not sell or distribute its client list to any outside party.
Credit card information entered on the ETS Canada site is kept strictly confidential. In order to protect your credit card information, the ETS Canada store runs on a secure server.
Are my results confidential?
We do not provide your score or personal information to outside parties. Only ETS Canada and the testing site have access to your score results. We will only send your results to another organization (professional licensing body or employer) with your consent.
After you have taken a test, your results will be sent to you. We cannot provide test scores over the phone in order to protect your confidentiality. If you request the Premium Pack for the TOEIC test, we will email you a password to access our secure site where you will be able to view your test score.
Does ETS ever destroy information from test-takers?
Yes. Your answer sheet is kept for two years so that you can request that it be rescored for a fee. After two years, your answer sheet is shredded. You can order copies of your test results for two years after the test date. After two years, your test results are purged from our database and we cannot issue copies of your results.
