General Terms and Conditions

In addition to all applicable laws, access and use of etscanada.ca are subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein. By using this and other websites operated by ETS Canada, ETS and its respective divisions, subsidiaries and affiliates, you agree to all of the terms and conditions set forth herein. If you do not agree with these Terms of Conditions do not use this site.

ETS Canada reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change these terms at any time. Please check these terms periodically for changes. Using this site following the posting of changes to these terms shall constitute your acceptance of the revised terms.

ETS Canada may terminate, change, suspend or discontinue any aspect of this site, including the availability of any features of the site, at any time. ETS Canada may also impose limits on certain features and services or restrict your access to parts of or the entire site without notice or liability.

 Delivery Policy

Test Registrations

All test registrations are processed within five business days. Examinees will receive confirmation of their order via e-mail immediately upon successful payment and can view (and must print) their admission ticket at any time in their online account.

Books, CDs, and CD-ROMs

All Book, CD and CD-ROM orders are processed and delivered within 10 business days of purchase and are sent via FedEx Standard or Xpress Post Service.

Certificates and Score Reports

Certificate and Score Report orders are processed within 5 business days of purchase and are mailed to you by Canada Post Standard Mail Service. ETS Canada is not responsible for Certificates and/or Score Reports lost by Canada Post. You may pay an additional fee to have your documents sent via FedEx or Xpress Post Service. This fee will vary depending on delivery destination. Please contact us at 1 800-615-8666 before purchase for more information.

Refund and Return Policy

Services

There are no refunds once you have registered to take a test.  As well, you cannot change the test date or test location. Therefore, be sure that this information is correct when you register.  There are no refunds if you miss a scheduled test. Be sure that you arrive at the test location 30 minutes early.

If you miss a test due to illness you must provide us with a copy of your doctor’s note within 5 business days to re-schedule or receive a credit for your missed test.

Should Educational Testing Service Canada Inc. cancel a test due to insufficient enrolment or any other circumstances beyond our control, we will give you the choice of refunding your test fee or registering you for a future test at no additional cost.

Certificates and Score Reports

Certificates and Score Reports cannot be returned for a refund.
If there is an error on your Certificate or Score Report, we will issue you a new one at no charge. Please contact us or call 1-800-615-8666.

Teacher Workshops

Workshop registration is non-refundable. However, you can transfer your registration to another date or have another person attend in your place. If you miss the workshop, you can request that we send you the Resource Manual by mail.

Products

There are no exchanges, refunds or returns on these products after they have been shipped.  For technical reasons cancellation of Practice Online Tests is not possible.

If you request to exchange or cancel your order and it has not been shipped, a $5 service fee will be charged to your card to process your request.

If the item arrives in a damaged condition or is believed to be faulty, you can exchange the product for a new one within 15 days of purchase provided you contact ETS Canada immediately upon receipt.

We request that you return the Product by registered post with the signature upon receipt option requested and that you purchase insurance with the carrier for the value of the said Product. ETS Canada will not reimburse a Product lost during return shipment.
Only new and complete Products will be accepted, returned in their original packaging.

Any Product that has been damaged, or has obvious sign of use or not in its original packaging, or packaging that has been worn beyond simply opening the Product will not be refunded.  Products which can be reproduced such as video or audio recordings (CDs, DVDs, Tapes) will not be refunded if not returned in their original sealed packaging.

Products returned without a return number will not be refunded. If you have lost your return number ETS Canada customer service will provide you with a new one upon request.  ETS Canada will reimburse you by issuing a refund which will be sent to you within 15 calendar days from the time the Product is received by ETS Canada. ETS Canada reserves the right to set off refund amounts against payment due.

In the event of non-authorized or non-conform return of Products, the merchandise will be sent back to you upon request at your expense. We will request that you send us a cheque or money order to cover the shipping costs before returning the Product to you.
